She came THIS close to being my favorite

During the morning commute:

Jane: Oh hey! That was Lily's Jenkins mom! Have you ever met her?
Alpha: Um, don't think so.
Jane: She's really nice. I worked with her on the last fundraiser. I swear she must be a marathoner or something. She has absolutely not ONE ounce of fat on her.
Alpha: Really!
Jane: Yeah, you know I should be a sport and offer to share some of mine with her.
Alpha: That would be SO nice of y.... I mean, what fat? Mom, you can't afford to spare an ounce yourself!

If she works on her timing she could have a future in politics.

Hey, at least she caught herself! My kids would have wholeheartedly agreed and thought nothing of it.

You should be able to come back and visit me now.
Peace

Passing the fat around is the neighborly thing to do. My girls know better than to even say that 3 letter word.

This conversation would not happen in my house.
Mostly because we are too busy discussing liposuction or stomach bands.

Can I just tell you Jane! That I had an honest to goodness dream that you and I were on a train together and I turned to you and said: are you Jane! and you said yes, and I think we hit the bar car together.

Even for me it was an odd dream, perhaps I lerve you.

Oh geez, that was so funny. Her timing was just a tad off -- was she on that transit bus earlier? Those smells can disrupt the brain process, you know. I've got to hand it to you; every time I've tried to set foot on a bus here, I almost gag. Can't do it. It's like something died in there. Well, maybe when more people around here start changing their habits of driving cars everywhere, the buses will be washed out, then dunked in antiseptic and doused with Febreze and then I'll give it another shot.

Hey, when I landed here today, WOWWWWW what a page you made! It's adorable, Jane; columns and everything! You are good, lol.
Here ya go: I'm leaving you with a Christmas gift that I know you'll love and use: my extra 10 lbs of fat, lovingly wrapped and sent express.

Wow - if we COULD share extra pounds...just think how many people I could help! hahahaha...

Tonight was graduation. Hoooooo-rahhhhhhhhh. One more week and I'll be off for a coupla weeks. Do y'all shut down?

I like Angie's idea...we could share a little with everyone and it would be our own little charity! lol

I came by from Kat's spot. :)

Do you have an address for Lily's mom? I'll send her mine. I've got PLENTY to spare.
