Monday morning carpool, waiting at a red light, watching pedestrians:
Jane: "Is it just me or are there are a lot more Asians on campus this year?"
Alpha: "Hmm, I don’t know…. It’s probably like when you buy a car and you start noticing them everywhere."
Jane (exhibiting her total lack of self-control): "So you’re saying that I’m seeing Asians because I own a Toyota?"
Alpha (eyes rolling): "No, like you saw a bunch of them one day and now you are noticing them more." , (Then moving on) "You do know that Indians and Russians are technically Asians, too...."
Jane: "Yeah, but they don’t make a decent car so they’re not as noticeable."
I guess it's pretty clear why she doesn't leave home, huh?

We keep our trash in the alley. In dumpsters! And one time some whackjob plowed into one with her brand new car as she was whipping into her parking spot at work! Personally, I think the dumpster was moved a little further into the alley the last time it was picked up and in no way was it this woman's fault. However, her husband, (Mr. Bada$$ cop) wanted to ticket her for leaving the scene of an accident! Anyway, glad you didn't become the hood ornament of a plumbing truck!
Do you guys own an Asian? I mean do you keep one in the basement? I'm not really following Alpha's train of thought here......

Apparently it is quite obvious that great minds think alike since you, Tracie and I all had the same thought...
I am so blessed to know that June pointed out that she, I and Tracie were all pregnant together some 16 years ago. I'm thinking you may have been in on this too. Anyone want to put money on which of us was the largest? Pretty sure I can hands down win this wager!
I do however love the fact that I shared this with some of my favorite pals, just didn't know it at the time.
