Dear Lazy Homeowner on 20th Street:
If you should happen to notice that your trash can is not in its usual place almost completely blocking the bike lane in front of your house, worry not, it hasn't traveled far.
I won't bore you with a lecture on how the trash collectors only visit your street on Mondays no matter how long you leave your can out, or point out that if you would park it just a little more to the IN or the the OUT it would be navigable or even snarkily remark that it has wheels for a darn good reason.
No, I will just suggest that you change out of your Italian loafers before you attempt to wrangle your curb ornament out of the irrigation canal because when it came down to making a skippy-quick decision whether to become retread on a plumbing truck or knock your trash can into next Tuesday, I chose the selfish route.
Oh, and before you go after it, you might want to make sure your shots are up to date and check for open sores because it looks fairly foul down there.
p.s. - Maybe I could have caught it.
p.p.s. - But I didn't even try.

Hahhahahahaha!!! I didn't know they had HEIFERS in Utah!!! Good stuff.
it's such a gift when you stop by and post. =D
You go Girl! I'm right there with you. I hate it when the neighbors do that and then I have to drive around it and look at it for several days. I say Good for you!!!
Glad to see you again
:) You did the only thing ya could. Happy biking!
Hooray for you!!!
You know my neigbhors are Mormons and from Utah and they must be related to this dude because they leave their trash can in the street right in front of my mailbox for days on end! I think the only time they actually move it is to pull it up to the garage to load it with trash and then drag it right back and stick in right in front of MY mailbox. Thankfully, you were uninjured, or I hope you were!
You go girl!!
One envies the Italian loafers (but not the garbage fiasco).
How come every time you post, I'm like a day late getting to it????
Shame on me!
Woot Woot!!!! hahahahahahahahaha!
I so wish you could actually post that somewhere the actual idiot homeowner could see it. Of course, I leave my can on the street all week, but I live on a cul-de-sac with about 10 other homeowners and there's just never enough traffic to make it a big deal. Plus, I do keep my can in MY yard. As opposed to street side.
Hope you didn't have to use too many ninja skills or pull anything vital making the kill shot.
Too funny. I hope Lazy Homeowner gets the message.
I didn't realize you were back. I was going to start following your blog the day you said you were flying the coop or emptying the nest, but I changed my mind because how silly would that have been. Now I will have to catch up.
I'm the same total hypocrite! And can't sing a bit either.
Love this post!
